Up next, February 2025: the release of my first EP, Ashes, alongside my upcoming collection of poems & essays, All The Fucks I No Longer Give

Welcome. I’m Amanda Giles (she/they). Originally from Toronto, Canada, I moved to Chicago to pursue a career in the performing arts, and have been so grateful to call this city my artistic home ever since.

My passion lies in storytelling that sparks conversation and is collaborative in nature. Where vulnerability steers the ship for a deeper truth and collective awareness to emerge - which is why much of my career so far has been in new & devised work and original works of my own or well known plays and musicals with companies & collaborators that tell stories in an inventive and inclusive way.

As a queer, neurodivergent, Jew(ish) Canadian from an immigrant family, inclusive, honest and community oriented performing has always been at the forefront of my mission as an artist.

When I’m not on stage, I’m probably cuddling with my pup Charlie, writing songs and poems, walking in Humboldt Park, facilitating somatic and trauma informed support for folks and laughing my face off with my constellation of loved ones.

Thanks for being here. Stay awhile if it feels cozy for your heart.
