Welcome. I’m Amanda Giles (she/they). Originally from Toronto, Canada, I moved to Chicago to pursue a career in acting and have been so grateful to call this city my artistic home base ever since.

My passion lies in storytelling that sparks conversation and is collaborative in nature. Where vulnerability steers the ship for a deeper truth and collective awareness to emerge - which is why much of my career has been in new works and devised work, with a pull to shows telling stories through a queer lens.

As a queer, neurodivergent, Jewish Canadian from an immigrant family, inclusive, honest and community oriented storytelling has always been at the forefront of my mission as an artist.

When I’m not performing, I’m probably cuddling with my pup Charlie, writing songs on my guitar & piano, facilitating somatic and trauma informed support for folks, jumping into lakes or recording for my podcast, Live Your F*ck Yes Life!

Thanks for being here. Stay awhile if it feels cozy for your heart.
